Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
By using GWT we can build fast and easy to use AJAX based userinterfaces for your web applications regardless if that interface is supposed to run in a browser on your phone or on your desktop.
The AJAX Javascripts in GWT are precomiled and optimized for each browser in advance. This means GWT code is small and can make extensive use of caching. Therefore, GWT is often up to 50% faster than Javascript toolkits like jQuery.
GWT applications can be deployd either on Google App Engine, or on any modern Java Servlet Container or application server.
